1. Provider and scope

This website and PollenCompass are provided by the developer of PollenCompass. Contact: contact@pollencompass.com.

This website explains the app; it does not provide live personal forecasts, accept payments or offer app downloads. App availability and final purchase details will be shown in the App Store at launch.

2. Service and forecast limitations

PollenCompass provides pollen and weather forecasts for Europe only. It uses Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service data via Open-Meteo, on an approximately 11 km grid. Pollen forecasts reach roughly three to four days ahead, and that horizon shifts as new model runs arrive. Coverage and data availability vary by location, forecast day and pollen type.

Forecasts are model estimates, not measurements at your exact position. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. When part of a forecast is missing, the app says so and treats your score as a minimum. A low score or a suggested time outside does not guarantee the absence of pollen or symptoms. Real-looking examples on this website, including the app screenshots, use sample data and are not live forecasts.

3. Not medical advice

PollenCompass does not diagnose, treat or prevent allergies. Its pollen score, suggested times outside and diary insights are informational, not medical advice. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms or treatment. Do not delay seeking care or change prescribed treatment solely because of an app score or forecast.

4. App licence and lawful use

The app licence is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These terms describe the forecast service and do not replace Apple's licence or mandatory consumer protections.

Use the website and app lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service or infringe other people's rights.

5. Free features and Pro

The free version includes your personal pollen score from 0–10 with a level label, the best time outside today, today's pollen peaks, tomorrow's forecast, weather context, the symptom diary, widgets, notifications and up to 2 places.

Pro adds the hourly pollen curve, the days after tomorrow as far as the forecast reaches, unlimited places and trigger insights from your diary. Pro is available as a Monthly plan, a Yearly plan or a 3-Month Pass. Prices will be shown in the App Store at launch. No trial or introductory offer is promised by this website.

6. Payments and renewal

Apple processes App Store purchases. Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Under Apple's standard subscription terms, they renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the Apple Account may be charged within 24 hours before that period ends. Review the terms shown by Apple when purchasing.

The 3-Month Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for three months from the date of purchase and does not renew. Buying another pass while one is still active adds three months to the end of the current term.

7. Cancellation, restoration and refunds

Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling generally stops the next renewal; access follows the entitlement shown by Apple.

To restore a purchase, open PollenCompass and choose Restore purchases in Settings or on the Pro screen. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so they survive reinstalling the app or switching devices. See the Support page for help.

For an App Store purchase refund request, follow Apple's refund instructions. Eligibility depends on applicable law and Apple's handling of the request; these terms do not promise a refund or remove statutory refund rights.

8. Privacy and your entries

See the Privacy Policy for how the website and the app handle information.

Your diary entries stay on your device and are never sent to us. You retain any rights you hold in them, and you can delete single entries or all app data at any time.

9. Data sources and intellectual property

Website and app content remain subject to their respective owners' rights and applicable licences. Third-party forecast data is subject to its source licence. Nothing here limits rights granted by an applicable open-data licence.

Contains modified Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service information. Data by Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for any use that may be made of the information.

10. Liability and consumer rights

Forecast limitations do not exclude legal obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to defective digital content or services.

These terms do not impose a foreign exclusive court or waive rights available under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

11. Availability and changes

Planned features may change before release. After launch, any changes to paid services must respect applicable consumer law and the terms agreed at purchase. Forecast interruptions may occur when upstream data is unavailable.

Material updates to these terms will be identified on this page with a new date.

12. Contact and effective date

Questions about these terms: contact@pollencompass.com.
