Quick answers for forecasts, purchases and your pollen score.

PollenCompass is still in development and not yet on the App Store. The steps below apply once the app is available.

Questions, bug reports and feature requests are welcome at contact@pollencompass.com. Please include your iOS version and the city you were viewing; it makes most problems obvious straight away.

Why does my city show “No pollen data”?

Species-level pollen forecasts come from Copernicus CAMS, which covers Europe. Outside that area the app says so rather than showing a zero that would look like an all-clear.

Why is the fourth day sometimes empty?

The pollen model reaches roughly three to four days ahead, and that horizon shifts as new model runs arrive. When a day has no usable daytime data, PollenCompass shows “No data yet” instead of guessing.

How does the score work?

The app turns forecast concentrations in grains/m³ into a personal score from 0–10 for the allergens you select, weighted by how sensitive you are to each, with a level label.

Why does it say my score is “a minimum”?

If the forecast is missing one of the allergens you selected, the personal score can only be a floor: the missing species might add to it. In that case the app says so and does not suggest an outdoor window, because it cannot honestly recommend one.

Why is there no outdoor window today?

Either no hour clears the threshold, or part of the forecast is missing. The card tells you which of the two it is.

My widget shows old numbers

The widget reads a snapshot written by the app. It clears itself at midnight and after a day without a refresh. Opening PollenCompass refreshes it immediately.

Which pollen types are included?

Alder, birch, grass, mugwort, olive and ragweed.

Restore purchases

Open PollenCompass and choose “Restore purchases” in Settings or on the Pro screen. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Purchases belong to that account, so they survive reinstalling the app or switching devices.

Cancel a subscription

Monthly and Yearly plans are managed by Apple. Follow Apple’s official cancellation instructions. The 3-Month Pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Delete your data

Settings → Delete all app data removes everything stored on the device. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and for how long.

Is this medical advice?

No. PollenCompass does not diagnose, treat or prevent allergies. For severe or persistent symptoms, see a doctor.
